    Originally from Tasmania, Australia, Dr. Price graduated from Murdoch University (Perth, Western Australia) in 1994 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (DVM equivalent).  After becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Price practiced small animal and emergency medicine for over ten years across the United Kingdom and Australia. Then, following a two-year pathology internship (joint clinical and anatomic) at the University of Queensland, Dr. Price joined the anatomic pathology residency program at UC Davis. Dr. Price completed her residency at UC Davis in 2006.

    Dr. Price is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathology. Additionally, Dr. Price is a member of the International Society of Veterinary Dermatopathology,  the Veterinary Cancer Society, and the Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncology.

    For the past twenty years, Dr. Price gained extensive diagnostic experience in veterinary pathology at IDEXX and later VDx Laboratories in Davis, CA. While she loves all aspects of her profession, Dr. Price has a particular passion for oncologic pathology, utilizing immunohistochemistry and PARR evaluation in combination with the primary veterinarian’s clinical assessment. More importantly, Dr. Price enjoys getting to know her veterinary clients and developing a relationship of ongoing communication and trust.  

    Dr. Price resides in Davis, CA with her husband, two sons, two dogs (Charlie and Denali), and two cats (Stash and Tux).  She loves camping with her family, hiking in the southwest, yoga, and meditation.
